Arthur Kalman, M.D.

... is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Kalman attended Yale University where he majored in History, and was an All Conference football player. After graduation, Dr. Kalman went on to play professional football for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League. He hung up his cleats and attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. He then completed a one-year internship at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. followed by his residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY where he was Chief resident. Dr. Kalman continued his education with a fellowship in Musculoskeletal and Spine Medicine at the University of Florida's Spine Care Center. After successfully completing the fellowship program, he stayed on staff in Gainesville, where he treated many Division I football and basketball players.

Dr Kalman is a member of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, The Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation, The American Osteopathic Association, The Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

With his practice Dr Kalman provides non-surgical treatment of Low Back and Neck Pain, Knee and Shoulder pain. He also performs interventional spine procedures, Ultrasound guided Musculoskeletal injections Electrodiagnostic testing and Prolotherapy.
