Devin K. Datta, M.D., F.A.C.S.

…is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Datta is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Florida Medical Association.

After graduating salutatorian from St. Pius X High School, Dr. Datta was accepted to the University of Missouri-Kansas where he enrolled in a 6-year combined B.A./M.D. program. Next Dr. Datta completed a surgical internship at Creighton University School of Medicine, he then returned to University of Missouri-Kansas to complete an orthopaedic surgery residency. He then underwent fellowship training in spine surgery at Harvard University/Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston, Massachusetts under the tutelage Dr. Augustus White III, one of the innovators of modern day spine surgery.

Dr. Datta specializes in minimally invasive neck and back surgeries, and scoliosis surgery. He is also active in spinal research studies and is a key consultant for Medtronic, the world’s leading spine company in the area of innovative spinal technology. His participation in several FDA approved studies better allows him to provide his patients access to the latest innovations and techniques in spine care. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
