Joseph M. Brooks, M.D.

…is board-certified in Pain Medicine and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Brooks is a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine, the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with added qualifications in pain management, and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pain Management.

Dr. Brooks attended the University of Florida where he majored in microbiology and human nutrition. He attended medical school at Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles. After completing a one-year internship with Boston University School of Medicine, he completed his residency, and served as Chief Resident at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida. He completed his Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.

Within his practice, Dr. Brooks’ focus is interventional pain management treating patients with acute, chronic, and cancer-related pain. He also treats patients with fibromyalgia, headaches, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, arthritis related disorders, sports medicine injuries, and many chronic pain conditions.

He enjoys surfing and playing guitar.
