Jeannine Stein, M.D.

... is a board-certified Otolaryngologist. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Stein graduated summa cum laude from Ohio State University. During this phase of her education, she was named a scholar-athlete and was awarded multiple scholarships. Dr. Stein then continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She earned many awards including the Outstanding Student of the Year Award and was granted membership to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical student honor society. Dr. Stein graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the Watman Achievement Award and the Janet M. Glasgow Award, both the highest singular awards for student excellence.

Dr. Stein continued her medical training with an internship in General Surgery followed by a five year residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. During her residency term she had the exceptional opportunities of National Institute of Health surgical research and participation in the first laryngeal transplant procedure. Toward the conclusion of her residency, Dr. Stein completed specialized training in dermatologic surgery and then continued with a formal year- long fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, the highest training a Mohs surgeon can receive. Dr. Stein is one of only a handful of physicians in the country formally trained in both the advanced surgical techniques of otolaryngology and Mohs surgery. As such, her practice is centered on the treatment of skin cancers, with a focus on more difficult tumors. She also enjoys cosmetic medical work.

Dr. Stein currently lives on Merritt Island where she enjoys exercise, church activities, and time with her daughters. She is a member of multiple professional organizations and contributes to her specialty through regular publications and presentations. She is also a board member of The World Skin Cancer Foundation, a Brevard County based group, which focuses on raising public awareness of the health dangers of excessive sun exposure.
