James P. Zavitsanos, M.D.

...specializes in clinical cardiology, non-invasive cardiac diagnostic, cardiac catheterization and cardiac electrophysiological testing. Upon his graduation from Temple Medical School in Philadelphia, Dr. Zavitsanos completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He was granted a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Albert Einstein Medical Center and was also honored as Chief Fellow at the Medical Center.

He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, National Board of Medical Examiners and certified in Cardiology. In 1987, Dr. Zavitsanos presented medical research findings at the American Heart Association's Scientific Session. In addition, Dr. Zavitsanos served as principal investigator of research in the study of exercise stress testing and pentoxyphyllin.

Dr. Zavitsanos is married and has three children.
