Andrew M. Atkinson, M.D.

...is board-certified in Internal Medicine. After being named high school valedictorian, he began his studies at Furman University of South Carolina, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He then received his degree at the University of South Florida's College of Medicine. While earning his degree he was honored by his peers as the "Physician's Physician" and was inducted into AOA, the medical school honor society.

Dr. Atkinson completed his post-graduate studies at the University of South Florida (USF) and during his third year of Internal Medicine Residency there, he was Chief Resident. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Atkinson and his wife, Carolyn, live in Melbourne Beach with their children, Alyse, Brian and Michelle. His hobbies include running and tennis.
