Julie A. Gelman, M.D.

...is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She began her professional career as a dentist, receiving her D.D.S. degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. After practicing general dentistry for several years, she returned to school to study medicine.

She received her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, and completed residence training at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Dr. Gelman "discovered" Melbourne when her husband was assigned to Patrick Air Force Base on active duty. Dr. Gelman and her husband Cliff live in the South Beaches. Her hobbies include foreign films, ethnic dining and travel.
