Sue Mitra, M.D.

... is a board-certified Doctor of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Mitra received her medical degree from the University of Calcutta, India. She received a special merit scholarship and obtained a gold medal for securing the top rank in her class throughout her medical school curriculum. Dr. Mitra subsequently performed a year of clinical research in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, FL and published articles in journals. She then completed three years of residency training from University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Mitra is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Mitra lives in Melbourne with her husband, Kunal, and her son, Kishen. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading journals and magazines, painting, arts and crafts, music and computers.
