Mark S. Psarakis, M.D.

...is a Doctor of Internal Medicine. He began his studies at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where he received his B.A. in Biology and Chemistry graduating with honors. He went on to receive his medical degree from the University of South Florida's College of Medicine as a US Army Health Professions Scholarship Program recipient. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Psarakis then entered active duty with the US Army, serving for 4 years at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina where he was promoted to the rank of Major and became Chief of the Internal Medicine service at Moncrief Army Hospital. He also received an appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.

He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Psarakis and his wife, Dr. Effie Samitas, live in Indialantic with their two daughters. His hobbies include computers, military aviation history, and classical piano.
